It was created in 2022, and has fast become a much-loved experiential stay for many of our first-time guests. The thatched roof and the almost “tree-house” like styling of this room, make it a very unique and memorable stay.

Worth every penny
The place is amazingly beautiful. I was told that the place was built under the theme “hide” so is 30 minutes walk from the main highway. The rooms are also built on the same theme so are placed in good distance from each other. The place is very peaceful. They do not serve food in rooms but there are good options available at the bar and restaurant. Rooms are minimal and comfortable. Worth every penny.

Perfect for Family Getaway!
We spent 2 night with our kids. We had a amazing time at Summit River Lodge. Lodge itself is surrounded by greenery and has its own kind of beauty but what makes more special is Staff and environment there. All staffs are really hardworking to make guests happy and comfortable and we appreciate it so much. My son still misses swimming and yummy meatballs.

The space is amazing
The place is great. Area is big and they have many rooms. The compound is huge, which includes swimming pool, seperate dining and kitchen. The rooms are clean, neat and tidy. The foods were also really great.
The place is in the other side of the river, so the noise and pollution from the highway is not felt. The space is amazing and the staff are super welcoming.

Great Ambience and Superb Hospitality
We had a very enjoyable two-night stay at Summit River Lodge. We felt very close to nature while there. The hotel blends with nature and is also very eco-friendly. At the same time, it has the amenities to make the stay comfortable. The food was superb and the hospitality was amazing. All the staff members were very friendly and responsive to our needs and made every effort to make our stay comfortable. We were also impressed that the lodge employed many locals and also bought many of the needed produces locally. Thank you.

Great escape from Kathmandu
The Summit River lodge is just a 3 hour drive from Kathmandu enroute to Chitwan/Pokhara close to the village of Kurintar. It offers comfortable accommodation in a semi tropical environment away from the maddening crowd. Great service and food at a reasonable price. Love the swimming pool and a hike to the nearby waterfall is highly recommended. Been here some 6+ times and loved it every time.
